At Strelitz International Academy, traditions and learning go hand-in-hand, especially when celebrating meaningful holidays like Passover. This year, our students and families came together to explore the story, symbols, and significance of Passover through joyful, hands-on experiences.
The celebration began on April 10, 2025, with our Primary Years Model Seder, where students and their families gathered to participate in a guided seder experience. With songs, storytelling, and a delicious sampling of traditional Passover foods, families got a taste of what makes the holiday so special. The children helped lead the rituals and shared their learning, proudly showing off their knowledge of the Passover story, the order of the seder, and the meaning behind each item on the seder plate.
The next day, on April 11, 2025, our Early Years students hosted a Family Passover Experience. Parents were invited to join their children for an interactive celebration filled with singing, learning, and joyful exploration. Families learned about the key elements of Passover through songs, stories, and age-appropriate activities that brought the themes of freedom and tradition to life.
These celebrations are a cherished part of our school culture at Strelitz International Academy. They not only reinforce classroom learning but also strengthen the connection between school and home, and between our students and their heritage.
