At the Strelitz Early Childhood Education Center, health and wellness are a critical part of our curriculum.
Age-Appropriate Playgrounds
We ensure children receive daily outdoor free play in our three specialized playgrounds – one developed for infants, one for toddlers, and one for preschool children. During inclement weather, our three and four-year-old preschool students use the campus gymnasium for recess. Two-year-old students and toddlers use our large motor skills room in the preschool wing.
Physical Education
Our two-year-old learners use state-of-the-art campus gymnasium for P.E. once a week with a certified P.E. teacher.
Three and four-year-old students experience P.E. twice a week in this space also.
Our P.E. instructor helps all of our students build core body strength and develop strong gross motor skills in a safe, stimulating environment.
Aquatics
Three and four-year-old students receive weekly swim classes at our highly regarded aquatics facility. Our aquatics facilities are one more reason why Strelitz is right from the start for your entire family.
Health and Wellness
There is a bathroom in each classroom, ensuring that children have access as needed. We also have multiple sinks with built-in water fountains in each classroom, which allow for regular hand washing and access to drinking water.
Our daily snacks are varied and chosen for their nutritional value. Our school maintains a peanut and tree nut-free policy to ensure the safety of children with life-threatening allergies. We have a school nurse and developmental specialist on-site daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For health forms, click here.
